An Astounding Testimony - Interview with Michael Reed McGowan

In this interview, we hear the story of Michael Reed McGowan who was a stripper and DJ in the New Orleans & New York club scene for 35 years. After losing his same-sex partner to AIDS and then getting sick himself, Reed began to search for answers. When a hospital volunteer gave him a Bible, he began to read it. After years of struggle, he made a commitment to follow Jesus and was empowered to walk away from alcohol, drugs and sex addiction. His desires shifted and he abandoned the club scene and LGBT identity as he found a new identity in Christ.
